DEVELOPMENT

1997 
The company was founded, laying the foundation for its future success. From the beginning, the vision was clear: innovation and customer focus would be the cornerstones of the business.

2018 
With the expansion of its portfolio and new partnerships, the company significantly continued its growth trajectory. New products and services were introduced, enabling Barradas to quickly establish itself as an international company.

2020 
A further highlight in the company's history. Through the successful completion of several key projects, the company has now also successfully established itself in plant engineering.

UP TO 2024 
By now, Barradas has a considerable number of machines and recycling plants worldwide. The market launch of the multi-shredder was a significant step forward in the recycling sector. We are optimistic about the future.

MACHINE ENGINEERING 

Barradas offers a range of machines for efficient recycling, including Barradas Rotary Rippers, Barradas Rotary Shears, Barradas Granulators, Barradas 4-Shaft Rotary Shears and Barradas Multi-Shredders. These machines are characterized by their robust construction, high performance, low-maintenance operation, low wear costs and intelligent control system.

PLANT ENGINEERING 

Barradas offers turnkey plant solutions for battery, refrigeration, WEEE and tire recycling plants, covering the entire process from planning to implementation. This includes the conceptual design, construction and engineering of the plants.
As part of process optimization, existing processes are recorded, weak points analysed and corresponding optimizations made. This also includes the planning, production and assembly of the necessary components. Many years of experience, personal advice and a global sales network support the effective implementation of such projects.

SERVICE

Our international service team at Barradas is trusted by numerous customers worldwide who rely on our growing expertise, dedicated service, and innovative strength. In a 2020 customer survey, we were recognized for our commitment, flexibility, performance orientation, and innovative capabilities. Our range of services for recycling machines includes comprehensive process optimization, in which we develop tailor-made, turnkey solutions by analysing weak points. We also offer repairs and overhauls of control technology as well as advice on the selection of new systems.
Our full-service maintenance package includes individual maintenance plans, servicing and detailed final reports. For on-site installations, we take care of the complete mechanical and electrical installation, the replacement of wearing parts and the execution of repairs. In addition, we offer multilingual training and instruction to ensure that our customers are optimally supported worldwide.

REFURBISHED MACHINES

The refurbishment of discarded machines or machines in need of repair comprises several steps to restore their usability. This includes the replacement and optimization of assemblies, the reconditioning of worn areas and the use of special, wear-resistant materials. In addition, the machine control system is brought up to the latest state of the art. These measures are usually offered with a guarantee. The retrofitting of machines can benefit from the experience and expertise of the service providers to make the machines fully functional again.
